Terms and Conditions

The agreement between you and us when you buy a gallery. Last updated 19 August 2026.

1. Who we are

Newlyweds Gallery is a trading name of Digital Galleries Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17403040, registered office 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF.

You can contact us at help@newlywedsgallery.com.

2. These terms

These terms apply when you buy a gallery from us. By paying, you agree to them. Please read them before you buy, and keep a copy.

They also apply to guests you invite, in that guests using a gallery must follow the acceptable use rules in section 6.

3. What you get

A private wedding gallery at its own web address, which you and the guests you invite can use. Essential holds 250 photos from you and 250 from your guests. Premium holds 2,000 from each. Both include three months of storage from the day you pay.

Both plans include the same features: photo uploads by you and by guests, curated Highlights, likes, comments, private saved collections, colour themes and usage figures.

5. Your photos stay yours

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you invite, only so that we can provide the gallery. We do not use your photos for anything else, we do not show them to anyone outside your gallery, and we do not use them to promote our service.

You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload. Wedding photographs are usually the photographer's copyright, so check your photography contract allows you to share them this way.

Keep your own copies. Your gallery is a way to share photos, not a backup, and everything becomes unreachable when your storage ends.

6. Acceptable use

Galleries must not be used to upload or share:

  • Anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Anything of a person who has asked not to appear, once you know they have asked.
  • Anything abusive, harassing or threatening, including in comments.

If we are told about content of this kind we may remove it, and in serious cases suspend a gallery. We will tell you if we do.

7. Price and payment

You pay once, when you create your gallery. Prices are shown on the site in pounds sterling and are the total you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe.

Extending your storage beyond the included three months is a separate, optional monthly payment. It renews each month until you cancel, and you can cancel it at any time from your gallery's settings.

8. Your right to cancel

Because your gallery is digital content that we make available immediately, you are asked to agree at checkout that we can start straight away, and to acknowledge that doing so ends the fourteen day right to cancel that would otherwise apply to a distance purchase.

If you do not agree to that, do not complete the purchase, and contact us instead.

This does not affect your legal rights if what we provide is faulty, not as described, or not provided with reasonable care and skill. If something is wrong, tell us and we will put it right or refund you.

9. When your storage ends

Three months after you pay, unless you have extended it, your gallery stops being reachable and everyone sees a page explaining that it has expired. Extending storage restores access.

We will email you before this happens. Download anything you want to keep before that date.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the service running at all times, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. We may occasionally need to interrupt it for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

11. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to meet these terms we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.

Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using your gallery at any time. We can suspend or end a gallery if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, and we will explain why when we do.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to you is the one published when you bought your gallery, unless a change is needed by law.

14. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own courts.

If something has gone wrong, email help@newlywedsgallery.com and we will reply. We would always rather sort it out directly.
